What was measured? What percentage of adolescents enrolled in the HMO received, by age 13, the second booster dose of measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) and Hepatitis B vaccinations?
These results are based on a sample of HMO patient billing and medical records.
Why is it important?Seeing that adolescents are immunized, including booster shots for continued protection against diseases like the measles is a clear way to avoid dangerous and deadly illnesses. Good care can include sending reminders to get shots on schedule and making it easy to quickly get the shots.
Look for differences of at least four percentage points.
Smaller differences are often not significant.
